Lewis Special to The Courier-Times-Telegraph Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Hassel and Foster Chapel for Belton C. Lewis, 77, of Athens. who died Friday in an Athens hospital after an extended illness. The Rev. D. D. Wallace and the Rev. O. W. Hooper conducted the services, and burial was in the Owen cemetery. Mr. Lewis was a native and life long resident of Henderson County. Union Survivors are a son, J. B. Lewis of Athens; one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Williams of Athens; one sister, Mrs. Wade Owens of Athens, and one grand-daughter.
