Bio

Daughter of Cyril A. & Lydia Anna (Guidinger) Sterner. She attended District 48 York County and graduated from York High School and the University of Nebraska with a BS in Education. She spent 12 years overseas traveling to 54 countries with husband Robert R. Mitchell and has resided in Kennewick since 1949. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at District 15 York County and Franklin High School, Franklin, NE. Surviving is her husband, Robert R. Mitchell of Kennewick; one son, Howard Mitchell and his wife Candy of Lemont, IL; one daughter, Ruth Mitchell of Kankakee, IL; two granddaughters, Sonyia Marr and Laura Mitchell.
