Terrell Tribune, Feb 07, 1972 "Mrs. Elsie Mae Hardman, a resident of Forney, died at her home there Sunday morning. Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church in Forney at 2 pm Sunday with the Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating. Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney under the direction of the Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home. Mrs. Hardman, the daughter of the late J. A. Taylor and Sleta Hanna Hilton Taylor, was born in Dallas County on April 18, 1912. She came to the Forney area as a small child and lived in and near here since that time. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was twice married and the mother of four children. Surviving her are: her husband, Gene Hardman of Forney, four sons, J. R. Smith of Forney, Cooter Hardman, Johnny Hardman and Mike Hardman all of Forney and eight grandchildren."
