Joseph Levi was a son of Emory Hatley and Mary Catherine Pruett. Funeral for Joseph Levi Hatley, 74, was to be held at 3:30 pm today in Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin with the Rev. Billy C. Spencer officiating, assisted by Rev. Mike Arnett of Lingleville. Burial was to be in Erath Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mr. Hatley died at 7 pm Sunday at his home near Dublin. He had lived here 15 years and was a member of the Lingleville Baptist Church. Born Feb. 20, 1897 in Alabama, he married Ola Lowrey May 16, 1920. 1920 Comanche Co., TX, ED 80, Sh 9B: Levi J. Locke of Abilene; three step sisters, Mrs. Jessie Cornelius of Zephyr, Mrs. Esther Carr of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Mabel Lively of Amarillo; two step-brothers, Roy Locke of Zephyr and Lee Locke of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren.
