Obituary of Alfred E. Kollaja Victoria Advocate Online 30 May 2003 Alfred E. Kollaja May 30, 2003 EL CAMPO - Alfred E. Kollaja, 76, of El Campo, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003. He was born March 18, 1927, in Halstead to the late Anton and Annie Friedel Kollaja. He was a sheet metal worker and carpenter and Catholic. Survivors: wife, Rosalie Zbranek Kollaja; son, Edward L. Kollaja of Sugar Land; and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by: sister, Evelyn Huelsebuch; and brothers, Cyril Kollaja and Leon Kollaja. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. today at Triska Funeral Home chapel A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip's Catholic Church, the Rev. Ty Bazar officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery in Plum.
