Bio

Dewey Lee Minchew was the son of Charles Gabriel Minchew and Frances Capers. He had the following siblings: Charlotte, William, Florence, Henry L, Magdalene, Leslie, and possibly another daughter. Dewey Lee Minchew married Ida Mae Linton (daughter of Hiram Boone Linton and Cora Jane Anderson) on May 26, 1920 in Clarke Co MS. They had the following: Dorothy Tempest Minchew Pickard, Cora Mae Pat Minchew Reed, Claburn Lee Bill Minchew, Charles W Minchew, Arthur Roy Minchew, James Alton Minchew, and Kenneth Minchew.
