Irene Binz, 83, of LaBelle, died Monday, May 20, 2002 at her residence in LaBelle. A mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with Rev. Don Golasinski officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland. A Christian vigil will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at the mortuary. Mrs. Binz is a native of Lindsey, Texas and lived in the LaBelle, Port Arthur, and Groves area for 59 years. She is a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. She is survived by her husband Linus Binz of LaBelle; one daughter, Mary Binz of Beaumont; one son, Charles Binz of LaBelle; two brothers, Earnest Krebs of Fred, and Florence Krebs of Groves; one sister, Juanita Gann of Sherman, Texas; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
