Bio

Services for Hazel Gary, 81, of Post, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nazarene in Post with the Rev. Ron Minor officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Cemetery in Post under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. She died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, in Lubbock. She was born April 6, 1921, in Hamilton County. She married Roy Gary on July 24, 1938, in Silver City, N.M. He died Jan. 29, 1986. She was a longtime resident of Post and an active member of the Church of the Nazarene. She worked for Postex Cotton Mills and later was a child care provider. A daughter, Barbara Kay Gary, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Ray Gary of Lancaster, Calif., and Frankie Gary of Cotati, Calif.; two daughters, Sandy Gary of Post and Susan Fumagalli of Custer, Wash; a brother, J.R. Hubble of Weatherford; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
