Topeka Capital Journal, Topeka, KS, Tuesday, March 12, 1985, Page 20 Mrs. Faye Litke Council Grove-Mrs. Faye Litke, 82, Council Grove, died Monday, March 11, at a Council Grove hospital. She was born March 19, 1902, southeast of Alta Vista, the daughter of Spencer and Minnie Johnson Newcomb. Mrs. Litke was a member of the United Pentecostal Church at Council Grove. She was married to Thomas B. Litke Feb. 7, 1923, in Wabaunsee County,. He died in 1978, Survivors include two sons, Don Litke, Council Grove, and Tom Litke, Abilene; four daughters, Naomi Moran, Topeka, Vera Youngren, Council Grove, Ruth Daines, Salina, and Norma Litke, Wichita; a sister, Nellie Hooper, Junction City; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Kendall Funeral Chapel, Council Grove. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery southwest of Alta Vista. Mrs. Litke will lie in state after 9 a.m. today at the funeral chapel. Contributions may be made to the Morris County Hospital Memorial Fund at Council Grove. Thanks to Kathy G.
