Bio

Ernest Hodson, 79, of R.2, Sheridan, passed away at Riverview Hospital early this morning. He had been a patient there for the past two weeks. Born May 4,1881 in the Bakers Corner community, he was the son of John and Mary (Bates) Hodson. A graduate of the Sheridan-Boxley High School, he had lived in the Bakers Corner community throughout his entire life. In 1907 he married Lizzie Herr who survives A retired farmer, Mr. Hodson was a director of the American State Bank in Sheridan, and a member of the Bakers Corner Wesleyan Methodist Church. One daughter, Miss Margaret Hodson, a teacher at Marion College, also survives.
