Thorban Tillie Walker, age 85, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2002, at her daughter's home in Sandy, Utah. Thorban Jacobs, known as Tillie Jacobs, was born 30 March 1916 in Lehi, Utah to John Earl Jacobs and Mary Ellen Butt Jacobs. She married Evan Earl Walker on May 16, 1935 in Farmington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Tillie Jacobs was a member of the Pleasant Grove First Ward of the The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed needlework, camping, reading and especially time spent with her granchildren. Two daughters survived her: Earleen (Jim) Lamont and Ila Jean (Kay) Dickerson, both of Sandy; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving were four brothers, Ralph Jacobs, Ray Jacobs, Lynn Jacobs and Tom Jacobs and one sister, Clara Clements. Her husband, parents and three brothers, Chet Jacobs, Jesse Jacobs and Dick Jacobs preceded her in death. Funeral: Pleasant Grove Stake Center. Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove.
