William B. "Bill" Rich, 78, a retired auto body worker, died Friday, April 23, 2004, in Cleburne. Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Cleburne Funeral Chapel. Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery in Hill County. Memorials: Calvary Baptist Building Fund, Missions Work. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Survivors: Wife, Helen Rich of Cleburne; son, Terry Rich; daughter, Kim Melton; brother, Edmond; sisters, Bobbie Young and Judy Robb; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bula Rich and son, Gary Lynn Rich. Grandfather of: Curt Alan Melton
