Bio
Louis M. Torres of Commerce City, a teacher, died Jan. 16 at home. He was 75. He was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Trinidad. A service was Jan. 19 at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel. Interment was in Highland Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2450 S. Downing St., Denver 80206. On Dec. 1, 1946, he married Margaret Siebert in Denver. Torres was a member of Rosehill Grange and Commerce City Senior Center. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Richard and David, both of Commerce City; a daughter, Patricia Ford, Commerce City; two brothers, Max and Lloyd, both of Trinidad; three sisters, Roseanne Robertson, Douglas, Ariz., Helen Puryear, Trinidad, and Delores Campbell, Denver.
