The Madison County Record Huntsville, AR 1 Feb 1996 Hester Lucille Tackett, 75, of Fayetteville died Jan. 26, 1996, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born March 23, 1920, at Delaney, the daughter of Grover and Hazel Baker Calhoun. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Tackett. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Fayetteville and retired from Campbell Soup. Survivors include two sons, Norman G. Tackett of Garfield and Russell F. Tackett of Fayetteville; two daughters, Phyllis L. Wilkins of Springdale and Beverly Evans of Fayetteville; two brothers, Howard Calhoun of Neosho, Mo., and Vol Parsley of Hot Springs; one sister, Lois Howerton of Springdale; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Brannon Mt. Church. Burial was in Brannon Mt. Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Ray officiating.
