Borys, 56, of Rt. 4, Columbus, died suddenly today at his home. Fr. Richard Ciurej will officiate at funeral services, 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stanislaus church at Duncan. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus cemetery, with military graveside services by the American Legion. The body is to lie in state after 1 p.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home, where rosary will be prayed at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Mr. Borys was born July 22, 1912, at Duncan the son of Stanley and Catherine Gembica Borys, and was educated at District 37 and St. Stanislaus schools. He farmed in the Duncan vicinity, and had also been a part-time employe at the ASCS office. A veteran of World War II, he entered the service Aug. 8, 1942, and was in the Army Medical Corps. He receive his discharge March 10, 1944. He was a member of St. Stanislaus parish and the Holy Name Society. Survivors include three brothers, Frank and Leo at home and Jim F. of Omaha; five sisters, Clara, at home, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Dush and Mrs. Milton (Angeline) Bray of Columbus, Mrs. Edward (Victoria) Sliva and Mrs. Leo (Agnes) Kush of Omaha; 10 nieces and seven nephews, five great-nephews and three great-nieces. Mr. Borys was preceded in death by his mother in 1937 and father in 1938; brothers, John in January, 1967, Casimir of Seattle, Wash., Dec. 30, 1968, and one in infancy. Find A Grave contributor Don
