Martha M. Mosser passed from this life in Colbert, Oklahoma on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the age of 92 years and 25 days. She was born in St. Jo, Iowa on Thursday, March 25, 1920 to William and Cristina (Etinger) Thilges. Martha Thilges married her sweetheart Edward Mosser in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday, December 26, 1946. Martha was a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church in Durant, Oklahoma. She enjoyed the beauty of flowers. Martha was very talented and created many beautiful quilts in her lifetime. She loved to garden and liked to go to the casinos. But more than anything else Martha loved and cherished her family. Mrs. Mosser was preceded in death by her parents, William and Cristina Thilges; husband, Edward Mosser; 9 brothers and sisters. Family Hour will be from 7-8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the St. Williams Catholic Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Fr. Valerian Gonsalves officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Mosser, Aaron Mosser, Lesley Dail, Shaun Condor, Alan Condor and Andrew Ray.
