Bio

mother (in Johnes Plot from previous row) As recorded in the Lisia Gora Catholic Church in Zukowice Stare, Galizien, Poland/Austria. Born and baptized July 13, 1876, from house 27, Marianna Morydz, catholic, female, legitimate birth. Father: Adalbert [Wojciech] Morydz, son of Jan Morydz and Agnes Swieca. Mother: Anna, daughter of Sebastian Wielguś and Regina Drwal. Godparents: Joseph Duz and Catherine wife of Martin Morydz. According to her obituary, Mary came to the United States about a year after her birth, 1877 or 1878, and to Tarnov, Nebraska in the early 1880s. She married John Foreman [Jan Furmanski] on October 7, 1890 in Tarnov, Nebraska. John who died December 9, 1910. She married John Weiss, April 16, 1913 in Platte Center, who died December 9, 1915. Mary remained a single widow for the rest of her life and died November 3, 1951 in Platte Center, Nebraska.
