Bio

People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), January 4, 1900, p. 1, col. 3 Mrs. Schmid who has been making her home with her son Leonard in Franklin township, for several years past, died last Wednesday morning, December 27, at the age of 75 years, after an illness of about two weeks. The funeral was held Friday at 2:30 o'clock, at the Appleton church, Franklin, Rev. Father Zalud of Abie performing the last sad rites of the church. Deceased was a highly respected lady and the BANNER extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
