Bio

Guilford W. Harding, 90, died April l7, 1998 at his home in Coats, Ks. He ws born April 6, 1908 on a ranch near Medicine Lodge, KS, the son of Charles and Rilla (Highfill) Harding. He was a retired laborer. A longtime member of Coats, he was a former Pratt County Sheriff. On March 28, 1930 he married Inez Burgin at Pratt, Ks; she died April6, 1986. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean (Harding) Pappan, Greenburg, KS; a sister Marjorie (Harding) Eubank, Sawyer, KS; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren. Graveside service is at 2 pm Monday at the Coats Cemetery, Coats, KS by the Kilwinning Masonic Lodge, Pratt, KS. Memorial are suggestd to the Coats Cemetery.
