Suggested edit: Thomas Peter McConnell in the son of Thomas McConnell and Keziah Morgan. There are two Thomas McConnells. Thomas Parker McConnell is the son of John Timmerman and Milinda Milstead. In the 1860 census in Richland, Decatur, Iowa both of them show up on the same page. Thomas Peter McConnell is age 5 (March 1854) on line 38 and living with his mother Keziah and his stepfather Sylvester Carroll. The other Thomas Parker McConnell is age 3 (Dec 1856) on line 4 and is living with is parents John Timmerman McConnell and Melinda. (Middle names are not on the census.) Contributor: Richard O Hunsaker (48422020) • He married Susan M. Case in 1877. Their children were Eva McConnell[married Ralph Arnold], Evaline McConnell, Henry McConnell[married Stella Acton], Charles McConnell[married Golda Tuttle], Monta McConnell, Aaron McConnell, David L. McConnell[married Myrtle Monroe], Alva McConnell[married Esther Davidson], Murvin "Mike" McConnell[married Susan May Young], Minnie McConnell, Bula McConnell and Thomas McConnell. Susan later married Benton Ladd. Her stone reads Susan McConnell Ladd.
