Bio

In memory of Jacob Teeple Jacob was born on the 24th day of December 1856 in Crocker, Pulaski County, Missouri, the son of Isaac Teeple and Nancy Coyle. His sibling was Mary Ann Teeple, Benjamin James Teeple, Martha Teeple, Sterling P. Teeple, John William Teeple, Isaac Teeple, Rosa Teeple, George Teeple, Stella Teeple, James Milton Teeple, Charles E. Teeple and Edward Teeple. Jacob served as a private in Company H 10th regiment, Missouri infantry, Confederate States of America. Reported as being shot in the thigh during the war and at one time being a prisoner of war. On the 8th day of March 1902 in Clay County, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Martha Collins, and to this union Charles Collins Teeple, Bert Teeple and James William Teeple were born. Martha left this life in 1907 and in 1922 Jacob married Lydia Frances Cupp-Jolliiffe-Willeford-Bell-Dirks daughter of Solomon Noah Cupp and Emma Oldfather. No children were born to this union. Jacob left this life on the 15th day of July 1931 in Brush Creek Township, Douglas County, Missouri and was laid to rest in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Ava, Douglas County, Missouri.
