93Y Dau of Joel T. Freemon, Jr. and Miranda Ann Brown aka Freeman m: Caleb J. Welch 10 children "Joann Freemon was born in Lovington, Moultrie Co, Illinois on 11 May 1853 to Joel T. Freemon, Jr. and Miranda Ann Brown Freemon. She married Caleb J. Welch (1846-1933) on 29 Dec 1870. According to the 1910 Census, Joann had 10 children with 7 living. Some of the children were: John A, Mary A, Clara F., William A, Bessie M, Alma B & Oscar C. Joann died 25 Dec 1946 in Shawnee, Bates, Missouri at 93 years of age. She & Caleb are both buried in the White Oak Cemetery, Henry Co, Missouri." John A. Welch(son?)gave the information on her death certificate. He may be the John Allen Welch buried in the same cemetery. Thanks to descendant Vicki for information to enhance this memorial. Dbl stone with Caleb J., inscribed "Mother" and "Father"
