------------------------- Grand Island Independent Saturday 13 Sept 1924 p. 5 Mortuary Mrs. Johanna Kluck Mrs. Johanna Kluck, 71, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. P. Corrigan, 211 south Oak street, at 2 p.m. Friday (12 Sept 1924), after a lingering illness. for the past six months or more she had been suffering from dropsy of the heart. the end , however, was sudden and unexpected. Mrs. Kluck was born in Germany on November 11, 1852. for a number of years Mr. and Mrs. Kluck resided on a farm near Schuyler. Her husband preceded her in death about 15 years ago. For over a year she had made her home in this city with her daughter. the body was taken to Schuyler for burial on train No. 16, Saturday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the home of a daughter, Mrs. Eberhardt.
