George W. Prickett Dies at Hospital George W. Prickett, 64, died Sunday, October 11, in a Tuscaloosa hospital, following a long illness. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Prickett, his home was in Nixon Chapel community. Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Ima Trojner, New York, and Mrs. Mildred Campus, California; one son, Hugh Prickett, of Royal; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Johnson, and Mrs. Jewel Hill of Douglas; two brothers, Tom Prickett, Birmingham, and Ralph Prickett, Dothan. Funeral services, held at Nixon Chapel, Wednesday, were conducted by Rev. R. E. Isbell. Interment was in adjoining cemetery, Brown-Service directing. - The Southern Democrat, 15 Oct 1953, pg. 1 .
