Gerald A. Schroeder, 65 , of Tucson, Ariz., formerly Plymouth, Neb., passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson. He was born Aug. 8, 1943, at Beatrice, Neb. Survivors include son, Schaun Schroeder and wife Krystal of Fairbury, Neb.; daughter, Colleen Schroeder and fiance Steve Stonecipher of Ashland, Neb.; four grandchildren, Trevor, Michaela, Moriah and Tara Schroeder; brothers, Ron Schroeder and wife Betty of Liberty, Neb., and Dennis Schroeder of Emporia, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Matilda (Paul) Schroeder. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Gerdes-Meyer Chapel, 2414 H St., Fairbury, with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorials to the family's choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in charge.
