Mr. Stanley A. Patak, 87, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas. He was born May 3, 1916 in Ennis, the son of John and Filomena Dlabaj Patak. He was reared in Ennis where he attended St. John schools. In March 1940 he was married to Mildred Brozek of Ennis. After their marriage they lived in Oak Cliff. In 1940 he was employed by WFLA Ins. as a salesman for 56 years. He also was the agent manager in Texas, OK and LA where he helped organize several WFLA lodges. He served as a director, first and second Vice President for RVOS. He was a director for 16 years with South Central Bank of Hutchins. Mrs. Patak preceded him in death in Jan. 1988. On Dec. 24, 1988 he was married to Martha Adamik Parsley of Farmers Branch. After their marriage they lived in Red Oak. He was a member of St. Francis Church in Lancaster, the KJT #111, Knights of Columbus, SPJST #84, WFLA #401 and a 55 year member of the Dallas Sokol Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Martha, of Red Oak; a son and his wife, Leonard and Pat Patak of Richardson; a daughter, Margie Osborne Willams and her husband, Marshall of Midlothian; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grand-children. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Friday in the Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am Saturday in St Johns Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery in Ennis.
