Bio
John Westley/Wesley Menasco Sr. was the son of Andrew Jackson Menasco and Matilda Caroline Rogers Saxon Menasco. John Westley Menasco and Mary Agnes Mixon were married the 19 November 1890 in Clarke County, Ms. This was John's second marriage after his first wife, Margaret F. Bruce, died. John had six children by his first wife Margaret and six children by his second wife Mary Agnes Mixon. John Westley Menasco Sr. owned about a hundred acres of timber land in Shubuta, Clarke County, Ms. known as the McDevitt Place. John Westley deeded one acre of this land for a family cemetery where he and his wife are buried in addition to several other family members. The cemetery is known as the Menasco Cemetery.
