Bio

Mrs. Joy "Tootsie" Miller, 70, of Winnsboro died Wednesday, September 17, 1997, at Hospice of East Texas' Homeplace in Tyler. Lois Joynell or Tootsie, as she was affectionately called by her family, was born in Wood County on August 25, 1927, to Walter H. Dickson & Velma Irene Crump. She was a resident of Fort Worth for 30 years before moving back to Winnsboro after retirement. In Fort Worth, Toostie worked in the insurance field and was a past president of the Insurance Women's Association. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
