Frieda Marie Pullen, of Central City, Nebraska, Passed away, October 7, 2009, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Frieda was born on March 15, 1932, in Olpe, Kansas, to Herman and Minnie (Kreuger) Huth. She grew up in Herington, Kansas and graduated from Herington, Kansas High School. After high school, Frieda moved to Hutchinson, Kansas, where she worked for the telephone company and also met her future husband, David Earl Pullen, while he was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. They were united in marriage at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Central City, Nebraska on October 18, 1953. Frieda and David made their home in Central City, Nebraska. Frieda worked for the telephone company in Central City, Nebraska, she and David owned and operated Pullen Skelly Service Center for several years, and Frieda worked for the Central City Nebraska Schools as a cook, a crossing guard, and as an aide. Frieda retired from this work to care for her husband David through his illness, he passed away, January, 13, 2004. Frieda was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Central City, Nebraska and was a devoted servant of the Lord in all aspects of church life and faithfully participated in Bible study. Frieda volunteered at the Hospital Thrift Shop and enjoyed the yearly Christmas Teas that she and David's aunt, Arline Baird, hosted for their many friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Edwin, Richard, Teddie, Luis and Walter Huth. Survivors of the immediate family include daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dallas Reichenberg and son, Dan Pullen of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Deana Pullen of Grand Island, Nebraska; sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Harry Lawrenz of Herington, Kansas; and brother, Martin Huth of Mesa, Arizona.
