Ed. Gibson Is Buried At Jourdanton Funeral services were held at Jourdanton Tuesday morning, April 7, for Ed. Gibson who passed away Saturday, April 4. Mr. Gibson had been in failing health for some time and just recently had been through a clinic at San Antonio. He was born at Doss on July 5, 1884, the son of Louis Gibson. He leaves his wife, Nellie Bierschwale Gibson, and one daughter, Geraldine, who is teaching at Blanco. Also surviving are five brothers, Rudolph, Oscar, Horace, Lytle, and a younger brother at home; two sisters, Augusta and Inez. One sister and his mother preceded him in death. Before moving to Jourdanton he lived at Morris Ranch. He taught school at Morris Ranch for several years and also at Flat Rock. He is well known here, a host of relatives and friends mourn his passing. Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bierschwale, Rev. T. H. Alcorn, Jasper Gibson, and Mrs. J. L.
