Bio

The death of Mr. E. O. Williamson, aged 26, occurred yesterday afternoon (Mar, 30, 1924) at 3 o'clock at the family home in Strickland Park, death resulting after a prolonged illness following his being severely gassed while serving in the American army in France during the World War. It is with much sorrow that the many friends of Mr. Williamson learn of his death, for he was a fine young man. He is survived by his mother and father, Edwin Arnold and Susie May Lyne Williamson; one brother, Woodrow Clark Williamson; and three sisters; Gertrude Williamson, Vallie Bessie Williamson, Blossom Elizabeth Williamson. Funeral services will be in the charge of Dr. Keevil and Rev. Dr. Linebaugh this afternoon at 4 o'clock, interment in the New Addition cemetery. (Source: Palestine Daily Herald 03-31-1924)
