Bio

Henry Schump was born in Strasbourg, France and came to Herington in 1893 and has made this city his home. He was a fine workman at his trade of painter. He suffered an injury while working a number of years ago, and from that time gradually failed in health - becoming bed fast several months ago. He was tenderly nursed by his faithful wife and all possible medical aid was given him, to no avail. Surviving him are his widow, Anna Benson Schump, six sons: Paul of White City, Frank of Kansas City, Pete, William, Louis, and Joe of Herington, and one daughter, Mrs. Laura Barlow of Herington. Funeral services were held March 27th at St John's Catholic Church conducted by Rev. Father Fitzgerald. Interment was in the St John's Cemetery. Info provided by Contributor No. 47173415
