Bio
Juanita Adilene Simpson married Karl Westerman in 1942 at California. At the age of three years, the mother of Juanita Adilene Simpson passed away. She made her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Chambers until their death and then lived with her uncle, Lud M. Chambers. Miss Juanita Adilene Simpson graduated from Bryson High School in 1924, and received her B.A. degree from CIA at Denton and her Masters from the University of Southern California. She taught in the Jacksboro schools and the Austin Schools. From 1936-1942, she taught in California. Survived by her father - J. Bart Simpson; her husband; one uncle - Lud M. Chambers. Her brother, Bart, died in 1937. Services were held at Bryson Methodist Church officiated by the pastor, Rev. James L. Koontz. Pallbearers were: R.E. Birdwell, J.A. Birdwell, Winfred Ainsworth, H.S. Bryson, William Eatherly, Lawrence Hughes. The Jacksboro Gazette January 8, 1948 page 4
