Services for Dorice B. Baker, 93, Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Baptist Church, Sand Flat, under direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler. Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery. Ms. Baker died Oct. 9, 2006, in a Tyler hospital. She was born Sept. 30, 1913, in the Sand Flat community to Claude T. and Willie Hicks Baker. She was a Baptist and lived in the Tyler area all of her life. She was office manager for the Herndon Estate. She was preceded in death by sister, Virginia Baker. Survivors include cousin, Wayne Fears, Tyler. Pallbearers will be Tony Fears, Josh Fears, Teddy McDowell, Bob Thompson, Brandt McDowell, Clifford Balch and Michael Weaver. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Published in Tyler Morning Telegraph on October 10, 2006
