Daughter of George Elbert "Red" and Beulah Ethel Camp Cofer Frances married Robert Vance Highnote September 27, 1941 in Franklin County, Texas. 2nd Milton Lee Chambers December 23, 1955 in Dallas County, Texas. ------------------------------------ Home in 1930 Winnsboro, Wood, Texas, with parents and siblings. Home in 1940 Winnsboro, Wood, Texas, with parents and siblings. Home in 1950 Dallas, Dallas, Texas, with spouse, ROBERT , and children. ********************************* ODESSA Frances Chambers, age 81, of Odessa passed away August 22, 2007 in an Odessa Nursing Home. Frances was born December 2, 1925 to George Cofer and Buela Camp Cofer in Winnsboro, Texas. She enjoyed cooking for her family and her little dog, Genie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Lee Chambers. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Lynn Highnote of Alexander, Virginia, and Lowell Highnote of Plano, Texas; three daughters, Kathy Simmons of Irving, Texas, Letha Sue Wong of Odessa, Texas and Cynthia Pon of Odessa, Texas; a brother, John Paul Cofer of Winnsboro, Texas and numerous grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Smith Cemetery at School Creek. For those that desire memorial contributions may be made to the charity of you choice. Services have been entrusted to Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home in Lampasas, local arrangements, in Odessa, by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
