spoke to a family member today who told me that when William died in 1960 in TN a lot of the family came to TX and when Birdie Mae died they wanted to carry her back to TN to be buried next to her husband but didn't have the money to do so... This

Bio

Crum, Shelia Services for Shelia Crum, 52, Brownsboro, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Hilliard Funeral Home chapel in Van with Pastor Gene Smith officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park. Mrs. Crum died Sept. 27, 2009, in Tyler. She was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Rome, Ga., to the late William Doyle and Birdie Mae Walls. She had lived in Brownsboro three years, moving from Tyler. She was a housekeeper, homemaker and a member of Hosanna Full Gospel Church, Tyler. She was preceded in death by son, Billy Crum Jr.; grandson, Marlon Lee Straps; brothers, Kenneth Dale Walls and Benny Walls; and son-in-law, Marlon Bullock. Survivors include husband, Billy Crum, Brownsboro; son, Bubba Straps and wife Chrystelle of Tyler; daughters, Cherie Lowrance and husband Chris of Whitehouse, and Shelia Barrera and husband Jose of Tyler; seven brothers; two sisters; eight grandchildren, Briana Bullock, Seth Bullock, Daniel Straps, Heather Straps, Summer Houseworth, Shelby Houseworth, Corey Lowrance and Candace Lowrance; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Randall Walls Jr., Mike Walls, Robert Walls, Junior Walls, Nick Goen and Michael Shropshire. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Straps and Seth Bullock.
