Walter Edward Breaux, 90, of Ennis, passed away January 25, 2008 at IOOF Nursing Home. He was born on January 1, 1918 to parents Walter Breaux and Beulah P. Hudson in Austin Texas. He was reared in Austin and in Ennis. He attended Ennis High School. On October 24, 1946, he married Jennie Lou White and they made their home in Ennis. He served in the US Army from 1941-1945 in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. He was employed with Ennis Business Forms from 1946-1980 as a Tag Press operator. He was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Edward is survived by one son and two daughters; Charles and his wife Rosemary Breaux of Ennis; Carol and her husband Louis Zabojnik of Ennis; Jean and Her husband Mark Ely of Ennis. Five grandchildren; James & Mark Breaux; Jennifer Mauldin; Lauren Graves and Cody Ely.; eight great-grandchildren; Josiah; Joshua; John; Joy; Jacob; Matthew; Jenny and Jonathan. He was preceded in death by his wife Jennie on July 15, 1999. Services will be Monday January 28th in Keever Chapel at 11AM with Reverend Richard Moody will officiating. Pallbearers: James Breaux; Mark Breaux; Cody Ely; Griff Mauldin; and Jason Graves; and Joe Ben Venable. Visitation on Sunday January 27th from 5-7pm in Keever Chapel. Interment will be at Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of JE Keever Mortuary.
