The Oregonian (Portland, OR) August 23, 1992 RAYMOND L. CANNON Raymond L. Cannon, 73, of Cornelius died of subarachnoid hemorrhaging Thursday in a Hillsboro hospital. His funeral was Saturday in the Fuiten-Rose Memorial Chapel in Forest Grove. Mr. Cannon was buried in the Forest View Cemetery. Mr. Cannon was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Pierce, Neb. He was raised and educated in Plainsview and Osmond, Neb, and moved to Oregon in 1937. Mr. Cannon married June Sharp on July 18, 1940, in Vancouver, Wash. After they married, they moved to western Washington County. They moved to Cornelius in 1975. Mr. Cannon worked as a dairy farmer throughout his life. He also worked for Larkins Lumber Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1980. Besides his wife, survivors include daughter, Raedene Spidal of Forest Grove; sons, Terry L. of Amity and Timothy I. of Newberg; sister, Evelyn Messinger of Gladstone; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
