Manley - 1st marriage on 4 Jan 1870 in Rockingham County NC per marriage record on familysearch.org -Husband of Margaret Annie Virginia Groome-2nd marriage-married 8 Mar 1877 in Rockingham County NC per familysearch.org marriage record (wife listed as Martha Jackson on the NCDC, but actually his mother was Martha Apple Jackson!) -Died of cardio renal disease -Was a farmer -Death date from NCDC is 25 Jan 1919 (does not match gravestone) -Birthdate listed as July 2, 1838 on NCDC (does not match gravestone) -Information from North Carolina Death Certificate for Peter G. Jackson buried in Groometown Church Cemetery. Marriage document lists his parents as "Lindsay Jackson and Martha Jackson". Mother's maiden name is Martha Apple.
