First name may be Sallie per 1910 census listing her as Sallie E. Dwiggins. The Tuesday, May 9, 1995 edition (Page B-3)of the Greensboro News & Record (NC) included: MYRTLE BEACH - Elnora Dwiggins Freemon, 94, died Monday, May 8, 1995 at Myrtle Beach Manor. Born Aug. 14, 1900 in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Miranda Jane Nelson Dwiggins. She was the widow of David Freemon and a former resident of Salisbury. She was a member of the Milford Hills Methodist Church in Salisbury and a homemaker. Surviving are sons, James Boyd Freemon of Naples, Fla. and Bobby Gene Freemon of Bradington, Fla.; daughters, Mary F. Cole of Decatur, Ga. and Marlene F. Livingston of Little River, S.C.; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Groometown Methodist Church cemetery in Groometown with the Rev. Charles Morton officiating. Memorials can be made to Milford Hills Methodist Church, Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, N.C. 28144. McMillan-Small Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
