He was born February 27, 1924 in Weldbank, Pa. to the late Ernest J. and Cecelia Hoover Wykoff. Jack was a lifelong resident of Warren County and was a 1942 graduate of Warren High School. He served in the U.S. Army Airforce as a Sergeant, serving with the 371st Bombardment Squadron during World War II. He was employed with the former G.T.E. Sylvania as a Machinest, retiring from there in 1986 after 36 years service. He was a member of the Clarendon V.F.W. Jack was an avid sports fan, and in his younger days he played softball and was known as the "Whip." He is known by his family as a devoted husband, father and grandfather, never missing a sporting event for any of his grandchildren. His family was the center of his life. He was a very humble and down to earth person. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kavinski Wykoff, whom he married September 30, 1950 at St. Clara's R.C. Church, Clarendon, three daughters, Cheryl Rondinelli and husband Mark, of Bowling Springs, Pa., Cathy Olsen and husband Mike, of Irvine, Pa., Terri Bevevino and husband Randy, of Clarendon; ten grandchildren, Amy Ordiway, Colby Olsen, Joe Rondinelli, Dr. Trevor Olsen, Katie Prettyman, Jenny Rondinelli, Kristy Zavinski, Kyle Zavinski, Megan Bevevino, John Mark Bevevino; and six greatgrandchildren, Parks, Ella and Fin Ordiway, Morgan, Reid, and Lincoln Olsen. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy L. Zavinski on February 29, 2008; one sister, Helen Osti; three brothers, George, Robert and Richard Wykoff.
