Bio
Marie was born in Hector, Arkansas, October 24, 1914, to Henry C. Gentry and Emma Jane (Williamson) Gentry. She was married to Loyd Blevins who preceded her in death. Marie worked for many years as a seamstress at Commander Mills. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and watching Fox News. In fact, she convinced her family that Fox News was the best. Marie loved her Tulsa Garden Club. She served as President at one time. Marie's passion was teaching young children in Sunday School. She was very faithful in her duty as a teacher. Marie's wonderful outlook on life and beautiful smile will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Emma Gentry; husband Loyd Blevins; son Jackie R. Blevins; grandson Chuck Blevins and 11 siblings. Graveside services for Marie will be Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery of Sand Springs,
