Bio

Musa Antoinette Peed, also known as Musie, was born March 21, 1877 in Green Hill, Stewart Co., Georgia. She was the daughter of William M. Peed and Sarah Frances Ward. On April 2, 1904 she married John Dixon in Bibb County, Georgia. She worked as a school teacher, stenographer, and bookkeeper. She lived in Green Hill, Antioch, Macon, Chatham County, and Atlanta. John Dixon died in 1919 leaving Musa a widow. She died July 15, 1957 in Louvale, Stewart Co., Georgia. She is buried in the Louvale Cemetery, on Church Row in Louvale.
