(Published in Times-Press-Recorder, Arroyo Grande, California · Wednesday, January 10, 1973, Page 13) Albert Williams GROVER CITY - A funeral services for Albert Wesley Williams will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sunset Chapel here with the Rev. Larry Clements of Landmark Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Arroyo Grande Cemetery. Mr. Williams died Sunday in a South County convalescent home. He was 86. He was born on Dec. 7, 1886, in Cook County, Tex., and had resided in rural Arroyo Grande for 18 years. He was a retired employee of the San Joaquin Cotton Gin Co. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Susie Williams of Grover City; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Armstrong of Arroyo Grande and Mrs. Rosie Lee Scott of Stockton; two sons, W.W. (Woodie) Williams of Grover City and W.D. (Pete) Williams of Amarillo, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. John Miller of Dallas, Tex.; five stepsons, Floyd Ballard of Campbell, Walter and Albert Ballard of Burney, Alvina Ballard of Florida and Junior Ballard of Fugate, Mo.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Lucy Reeves of Missouri, Mrs. Fannie Westmoreland of San Juan Batista, Mrs. Paul Jones of Grover City and Mrs. Henry Swain of Yakima, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover City, until 10 p.m. today and until service time on Thursday.
