Source: Tallahassee Democrat September 17, 2009 Mrs. Dannie Holland Hale Mrs. Dannie Holland Hale, 90, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009. She was a native of Newport, Tennessee, and made Tallahassee her home in 1979. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. EDT Friday, at Fox Cemetery, Newport, Tennessee, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, 338 E. Main Street, Newport, TN 37821 (423-623-3041). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miracle Hill Nursing Home, 1329 Abraham Street, Tallahassee, FL 32304. Dannie was a loving mother to her daughter, Kathy Scott (Rick); grandmother to David Lindsay, and Chris Scott; and great grandmother to Mercedez Lindsay, Makayla Scott and Shawn Tomblins, and Savanna Grace Lindsay. Dannie was a grandmother to everyone. .
