Daughter of William Floyd Walker and 1st wife, Elizabeth Gordy (1825-1962). Shown on the 1860 census (Dist 1, Scott, Mississippi) as "Markville Walker," b. 1854 in Alabama. She is not enumerated with the family on the 1850 census (Dist 1, Montgomery, Alabama). Mary Mack (Walker) Currie, second wife of Archibald Currie, filed for Confederate widow's pension,#43460, on 14 Nov 1927 and was approved the same day. Her husband A. Currie, deceased 3 Nov 1927. She stated that she was born in Alabama 7 Sep 1854 and resided in Texas the past 50 years. She married her husband 3 Feb 1902 in San Jacinto County.
