VERONICA MATTOON WILLENBORG, age 100, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2009. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on April 4, 1909. Veronica was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Leo F. Willenborg and grandsons, Michael Willenborg and Mark Willenborg. She is survived by sons, Phil Willenborg and wife Ann of Columbus, TX and Ron Willenborg and wife Carol of Friendswood, TX; grandchildren, Terry Rich and husband Danny of Columbus, TX and Steve Willenborg and wife Cindy of Pearland, TX; great-granddaughters, Shelby Rich of Columbus, TX and Kathryn, Michelle and Rachel Willenborg of Pearland, TX; and niece, Jane Smith of Victoria, TX. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 9, 2009, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 10, 2009 in the Warren Chapel at St. Dominic Village, 2409 E. Holcombe Blvd. A private Rite of Committal will follow. Those wishing to make memorial gifts may do so to the St. Dominic Village, 2409 E. Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77021.
