Bio

Funeral services for Vera Bradley, 45. were held at the First Methodist Church at 11 o'clock this morning, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. E. Underwood. Interment was in Hollywood Cemetery with Griffin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were Jack Craig, Paul Hunt, I. R. Brooks, W. M. Walker, W. B. Harris and Clyde Sewell. Honorary pallbearers were Dave Rice, C A. Bannerman, B. H. Fox, R. B. McCutcheon, M. C. Bond, Jr. and Hugh Mageveny. Mrs. Bradley died enroute to Webb-Williamson Hospital late Saturday night after suffering a heart attack while returning home from the Jackson-Savannah football game. Surviving are her husband, H. L. Bradley, M. & O. dispatcher; one son. Lawrence Bradley, a member of the Jackson High football squad who was unable to play in the Savannah game due to illness; one daughter, Mrs. Frances (Buck) Berryhill, Jackson and three brothers. Vernon and Bryan Lawrence of Jackson, and Virgil Lawrence of Memphis. She was the daughter of Howell and Mary McDonald Lawrence.
