Bio

The Caddo Herald, October 25, 1918 A Very Sad Death Every time death enters a home it is bad, hearts are wounded and grief is inconsolable. Sometimes the circumstances of a death make it more sad than others. Such a one was that Oct. 17 of Sergt. Sidney R. Clary, at Brownsville, Texas in the U. S. Base hospital, of influenza followed by pneumonia. The funeral was held at Sabinal, Texas, home of the deceased. Sergt. Clary and Miss Neva Ray of Caddo were married Sept. 16, thus they have been wedded but a short month. Mrs. Clary was on a visit to her parents at Caddo when news of her husband’s illness reached her and she arrived at Brownsville but a few hours before he died. Her many friends here sincerely sympathize with Miss Neva as they know her in her bereavement. She expects soon to be back in Caddo.
