Bio

Ervin W. Jenkins, 96, died at his home on East 9th Street Sunday, October 25 and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the LaForge Undertaking Company chapel with the Rev. Paul Vining officiated. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery. Mr. Jenkins was born in Kentucky on February 12, 1868 and had lived in this city for over 50 years. Until retiring he was employed in the lumber business. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd W. Jenkins of this city and Bonnie Jenkins of Pontiac, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Beula Ferrell of Caruthersville; sixteen grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
